The Living Room
One of the most popular features of the Taipei Hostel is a large open common area, with fans and air-conditioning. It's available for residents and their guests 24 hours a day. The Cable TV is also available 24 hours a day. (Most of the visitors enjoy watching movies in the evening). 
The lobby has a computer with internet access 24 hours a day. There is also free wireless internet available 24 hours a day. If you need to make a long-distance or local phone call, there are pay phones that accept phone cards. The hostel staff can sell you a phone cards for 100NT dollars.
The Kitchen
There is also a fully functional kitchen next to the living area. Store your food in one of the refrigerators and make full use of the kitchen at any time of the day or night (guests are asked to clean their own dishes). The fountain in the corner provides hot and cold filtered drinking water.
